Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)

High-Quality Addiction Treatment You Can Access From Home

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed for individuals building a life free from alcohol and drug misuse — while continuing to work, go to school, or care for family.
All group counseling sessions are provided via secure telehealth, making treatment more accessible for clients throughout Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, and across Northeast Ohio.

We take a wrap-around approach, addressing trauma, relapse risks, mental health, and barriers to stability.

What Our Telehealth IOP Includes

🏛 Court-Approved Treatment With Proven Results

Trusted by Courts, Probation, and Attorneys Across Ohio

For more than 20 years, New Visions Unlimited has partnered with courts and legal systems across Cuyahoga County and the state of Ohio. We have supported thousands of clients in successfully completing their court-ordered treatment requirements through our IOP and outpatient services.

We handle the compliance — so clients can focus on recovery:

     Timely verification of attendance
Regular progress reports to probation and attorneys
Completion letters that meet documentation standards
ASAM-aligned level of care requirements (IOP = Level 2.1)
Collaboration with Driver Intervention Programs (DIP), Family Courts, and Criminal Courts

Whether a requirement is related to an OVI/DUI, probation condition, or a child-welfare case plan— clients can fulfill expectations from home while maintaining employment and life responsibilites.

Who IOP Supports

✔ Individuals balancing recovery with work or school. People who need structured support but can’t pause their life for residential treatment.

✔ Clients stepping down from detox, inpatient, or PHP. A safe transition that maintains momentum and prevents relapse.

✔ Parents working toward reunification goals. IOP supports stability, sobriety, and case plan compliance for families in court-involved services.

✔ Clients returning to the community after incarceration. Supports rebuilding routines, coping skills, and accountability.

✔ Individuals facing barriers to in-person treatment. Transportation, childcare, mobility issues — telehealth eliminates common obstacles.
